Global Security (GS) protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security operations on a global basis to include ATM, branch and corporate building security and customer safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, fraud investigations and technical security. This mission is executed through the implementation of technology, best-in-class talent, and client collaboration.
The position of Headquarters Security Technology Integrations Lead is based in North America and will play a key role in the selection, testing, and implementation of multiple new security technologies planned for our new state-of-the-art Global Headquarters being constructed in New York City. Specifically, this role will have responsibility for implementing and integrating new technologies into our security program for the new building which includes intersections with building management systems and the operationalization of visualization and collaboration capabilities in our security operations center and firm wide fusion center. This role will work closely with key stakeholders across Global Security, Global Real Estate, Finance, Technology, Sourcing, and various control and risk functions across the bank.
The scope of this role will consist of testing, on-boarding, implementing, and integrating various technologies which will enhance our security team's ability to detect, assess, and respond to a range of incident types. These technologies will be integrated with one another as well as our existing suite of technology to enhance our overall security program, the visual collaboration capabilities both within our new headquarters and across the broader enterprise, and select building management systems to curate a best in class experience for our employees and clients while simultaneously delivering operational efficiencies through leading edge analytics.
This role's primary focus will be on the implementation and integration of security technologies in our new headquarters building. However, it will have broad impacts across the end-to-end security program and drive change across aspects of our current governance, procedures, processes, and maturation and automation of our operating metrics.
Job Responsibilities
- Ability to communicate with senior leaders across our security, cybersecurity, real estate, technology, and administrative teams to build out visualization and collaboration capabilities across operational and command centers.
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across our technology, real estate, and security teams to identify, assess, onboard, implement, and integrate new technologies into existing operations and processes.
- Organizational management including strategic planning, budgeting, project management, and reporting for key stakeholders.
- Creative capacity to re-imagine the technology suite leveraged across the North America Security operating model to enhance our layered controls designed to mitigate against our design basis threat.
- Coordinate with existing product owners to identify and prioritize a suite of integrations and build a plan/series of plans for the design, build, testing, and deployment against a range of existing use cases.
- Work with multiple teams and end users to develop training and tools for integrating these new technologies into their BAU operations, to include both the automation and visualization of incident data.
- Skilled communicator who is comfortable leading both small and large group meetings and working sessions
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Previous management experience in a similar role required
- Previous experience working in security, technology, finance, and program management roles preferred though not required as a combination of past experiences will be evaluated in context
- Previous experience working in an innovation-based role or with the testing and assessment of new technologies required
- Knowledge of the security industry including guard force management, technical security systems, security operations and incident management preferred though not required
- Excellent communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills
- Extensive knowledge of technology including back-end infrastructure, application development processes, and the importance of logical controls.
- Strong Project Management and Operations skills required; knowledge of JPMC tools and processes preferred
- Ability to communicate technology concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
- Intelligent, articulate, and persuasive leader who can serve as a senior leader within the North America Security management team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize workloads within a busy, changing environment and meet tight deadlines
