Job Summary & Responsibilities
Prime Services provides securities financing, securities lending and other client services (securities clearance and settlement, consulting and capital introduction) to the firm's hedge fund, institutional and broker dealer clients across multiple asset classes. Prime Consulting assists those clients through the start-up process and provides ongoing strategic guidance and support across a variety of practice areas. These practice areas include human resources, property & technology, business consulting/operational infrastructure and regulation & compliance.
The role is working in the human resources vertical of the consulting team advising clients on best practices in building a scalable efficient investment manager. This involves working in close collaboration with the client’s senior leadership in areas which include: compensation structures, recruiting and talent, vendor analysis & implementation considerations, and ongoing learning and development content.
Job Function:
- Strong client relationship orientation
- Understanding HR requirements and providing options to solve those needs
- Utilizing data and analytics to enhance the Prime compensation and talent portal and provide benchmarking analysis/ market color for clients
- Assisting in the build out of a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) offering for clients
- Assisting clients in the project and process management of launching a new fund from a HR perspective
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience (i.e., prime brokerage, hedge fund, human resources)
- Team Player
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong communication skills, ability to understand and explain complex topics
- Solid work ethics and high levels of motivation
- Hard working and strong willingness to learn
- Strong ability to multi-task and self-starter
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Prime Services
- Project management and product development experience
- Understanding of compensation metrics and tools
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop into client facing role
