We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Director of Risk Management to join our team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Global Director of Risk Management is responsible for identifying, assessing, preparing for, and mitigating any dangers, hazards, and other potentials for disaster-both physical and figurative-that may interfere with our organization's operations and objectives. This role is responsible for setting standards, developing and managing programs and procedures, claims management, safety and loss control, and communication and measurement of results related to property casualty, workers compensation, auto and general liability insurances nationally.
- Develop, align, implement, measure, and communicate a Risk Management strategy that includes short and long-term objectives for the organization's property and casualty, general liability, workers compensation, vehicle loss reduction prevention programs.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement standards, processes, written programs and best practices related to Risk Management and loss control, and measure and report impact to business.
- Provide consultation and technical advice related to insurance and Risk Management matters.
- Ensure compliance with insurance and Risk Management policies including assisting company with hiring 3rd party consultants for professional support.
- Continuous review of safety concerns, programs at our various plant and office sites.
- Manage EHS team and maintain responsibility for global safety performance
- Prepare and manage annual Risk Management and insurance budget as well as coordinate with the finance group on estimated liabilities for annual financial budgeting.
- Direct the claim adjustment process for workers compensation, auto and general liability programs including oversight of internal and external claim administrators and oversee the maintenance of department records and insurance policies and documents.
- Lead efforts of developing and implementing Enterprise Risk Management program.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Risk Management for a global manufacturing organization.
- Strong knowledge of Risk Management principles, techniques, and frameworks.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing Risk Management strategies and programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CRM, ARM, CPCU) are preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (roughly 20%)
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, business administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
- Safety, loss prevention, and claims training experience strongly preferred.
