Global Catalog Operations Manager (Compliance) (viagogo Inc., New York, NY)
Oversee the creation and maintenance of a Global Catalog of events and maps while hitting necessary Service Levels and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Analyze compliance based on CMA requirements from a global perspective and ensure processes and tracking are set up to deliver successful event creation within regulatory requirements. Help maintain the organization’s image and identity in the ticketing industry. Identify trends and key interests or concerns to provide advice on event data management-related business decisions. Confer with production or support personnel to produce or coordinate event production. Direct global tasks according to agreed-upon service levels across multiple skillsets and dimensions. Create plans and meet agreed-upon milestones for new processes, programs, and initiatives. Ensure sufficient staffing headcount, language support, and task skills to meet outlined business needs. Deliver against agreed upon KPIs and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) produced by Supply leadership, as well as provide thought leadership into the creation of new KPIs and OKRs. Manage partner implementations where required to meet staffing requirements by working with internal and external stakeholders. Develop business processes related to Data Entry and Design associated with ticketing industry regulations, standards, and practices. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to develop and maintain effective, proactive relationships and communications with internal business partners such as product teams, engineers, analytics, and supply managers. Establish and drive a culture of continuous improvement and provide strategic thinking to overcome obstacles and drive business objectives. Establish and support a training function that provides knowledge to all operations teams and ensures an efficient workforce. Identify, research, and resolve challenges to maximize efficiency and quality. Lead special projects as assigned. Travel required 25% of the time to domestic and international client sites. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to viagogo Inc., 3 World Trade Center – 175 Greenwich St, 59th Floor New York, New York 10007. Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Public Relations, Communications, or related field plus 2 years of professional experience as a Public Relations Manager, Event Data Manager, Operations Manager, or other occupation/position/job title involving event data management.
Must also have experience with the following special skills: 2 years of professional experience maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements for event data management in the ticketing industry; 2 years of professional experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading cross-functional projects in the ticketing industry; 2 years of professional experience working with technical systems (including Tunnel Bear, JIRA, and Power BI) and performing data reporting (using SQL); 2 years of professional experience using Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project); and 2 years of professional experience performing operations and relationship management with product teams, engineers, analytics, and supply managers, as well as developing process improvements from conception through implementation (using Six Sigma, Lean, and Agile) to drive continuous improvement.
