Job Description
Areas of responsibility:
- Ability to manage complex accounts as well as other responsibilities determined by the Global Account Director, Government & Military of Global Sales.
- Verticals Group and Individual Travel with Total Account Management (TAM) segment focus.
- Strong focus on account new business development related to potential accounts and growth of existing accounts.
- Research, identify, work with appropriate industry leaders, customers, and influencers.
- Attends and participates in trade shows, industry meetings, sales efforts, bid presentations, and sales calls.
- Evaluate and streamline business processes.
- Contract negotiation.
- Support of hotels' business and revenue needs.
- Closing business.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas verbally and in writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and instill confidence, as well as motivate and influence others.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems; ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other Team Members as appropriate.
- Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to understand and manipulate basic spreadsheets.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in hospitality sales.
- 4-year college degree in business or hospitality management preferred.
