This position involves senior level work within the Utilities Department with a primary function of directing, coordinating, and overseeing the maintenance and operations of Utility geographical and asset information systems. This position provides research and decision support to customers, various town departments, outside review agencies, architects, engineers, and the general public in the development and maintenance of water and sewer infrastructure inventory data, information, and mapping.

Bachelor's degree in Planning, Surveying, Geographic Information Systems or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in GIS, surveying; or any equivalent combination of accepted training, education and experience.
Professional GIS certification or ability to obtain within one (1) year of employment.
Possession of a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
Master's Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Public Administration or a related field.
Knowledge of data visualization software.
Experience with data transfers and APISs
Experience in water/wastewater industry.
Knowledge of programming languages Python, SQL, Javascript, and Java .Net and HTML.
Experience with Lucity/ City Works EAM.
Knowledge of Crystal Reports.
Bilingual in English/Spanish.
