Schneider Electric Asset Management Team has an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to assume the role of GIS Tendering Support. The essential responsibility of the Tendering Support role is to support and coordinate with the Sales, Tendering, and Professional Services teams to define GIS project scopes and level of effort.
Responsibilities

• Define GIS statement of work and level of effort for GIS projects.
• Define a GIS project within the context of a statement of work document, the application/product type, project methodology, tasks, deliverables, assumptions, project controlling language, project risks and constraints.
• Creation and update of GIS implementation project plans (MPP), definition of project tasks, durations, hours, predecessors, and resource requirements.
• Perform a review of customer project requirements and RFPs to determine the project requirements for the response.
• Present GIS project scopes and project plans (MPP) to internal and external stakeholders: account management, tendering, clients, and project teams.
• Work within a multi-cultural organization, specifically: regional and international client and tendering staff, sales, and asset management project and product teams.
• Collaborate with other groups within the Sales, Tendering, and Delivery organization to develop and validate project requirements and level of effort.
• Manage to a tender response schedule and keep the required stakeholders engaged.
• Provide regular updates on proposals status to the required management, account management, and tendering stakeholders.
• Provide GIS project guidance to account management and tendering stakeholders.
• Support the sales team during client negotiations.
• Support the maintenance and currency of GIS project scope of work templates and project plans.
• Work independently in a constant learning environment.
• Reprioritize work based on demand and priority.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, engineering, or geography (or related field with computer emphasis), with 10+ years related post-secondary experience in GIS project management, implementation, or proposals management preferably in the GIS Utility Industry.
• The GIS Tendering Support will have clear knowledge and experience in GIS projects for one or more utility domains.
• Experience with GIS solutions (ArcGIS, Arc FM, Small World, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project (MPP): creation and update of GIS implementation project plans, definition of project tasks, durations, hours, predecessors, and resource allocation.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft word: defining statement of work language, assumptions, deliverables, and processing redlines through track changes.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft excel.
• Proficient in the use of SharePoint.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of an organization
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally about 25% of the time

For this STATE based position, the expected compensation range is $80,640 - $120,960 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
