This opportunity entails being under close supervision, assist departments by performing basic assignments in the areas including, but not limited to Science, Planning, Technology. This position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis.
Our Tallahassee, FL office is seeking a GIS intern for Summer 2024 who will have the chance to assist project team members with various GIS support tasks (mapping, data formatting, digitizing data), collect and organize GIS data, create, GIS maps using ArcMap, publish data to ArcGIS Online, and assist in the development of dashboards, applications, and presentations.

What You'll Do:
- Assists project team members with various support tasks.
- Conducts basic research and data collection.
- Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
- Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
- Performs other duties assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program
What We Prefer:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Science, Planning, Data Analytics or related field
- 2 years completion of program
- Previous internship experience
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Works well in a team setting
