Job Description
A Long Island-based geotechnical consulting firm is seeking entry level Geotechnical Engineers.
Duties include:
- Assist project engineer develop field and laboratory investigation program
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and project work plans
- Supervise drillers and field operations
- Prepare boring logs and test pit profiles
- Prepare foundation recommendations report
- Perform design of shallow and deep foundations, walls, earth structures, and provide inspection and consultation with respect to construction testing and quality assurance.
Qualification: Candidates should have a BS or MSCE degree or equivalent in geotechnical engineering, material testing, and construction inspection, and is proficient in AUTOCAD and Excel and technical writing.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualification.
