Geospatial Intern

As a Geospatial Engineering Intern you will have an opportunity to make an impact at the ground level by contributing to the design, development, and implementation of fiber networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Geospatial Engineering team to design fiber networks and develop/implement automation tools.
  • Utilize data analytics to support the planning and implementation of fiber optic networks.
  • Learn and apply technologies including ArcGIS, Python, and SQL to support project requirements.
  • Acquire knowledge of fiber optic engineering and construction best practices.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to ongoing projects and challenges.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Upperclassman standing (junior or senior), graduate student, or recent graduate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a passion for learning new technologies.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
