Provide GIS Solutions and Geospatial Data Management Services to support Military operations in the US Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) Pacific Area of Operations for live-fire range training exercises. Operates Geographic Information System (GIS) software for the U.S. Army and the Strategic Range Program (SRP), including ESRI ArcGIS 10.X, TerraGo, ArcPad, AdobePro, and others and determined by requirements. Navigate shared or distributed Enterprise GIS environments, ensuring seamless platform integration and collaboration. Create and manipulate GIS data from diverse sources and formats, consolidating them into standardized GIS databases to facilitate streamlined operations. Deliver hardcopy and digital GIS products tailored to support range training and downrange planning. Work closely with customers to determine the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for their mission requirements. Comply and implement cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) across relevant C4 and IT systems. Attend required Interagency Final Site Surveys (FSS) and Final Planning Conferences (FPC) in support of automated range training in INDOPACOM Pacific Missions West of the International Dateline, covering areas such as Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan. Provide GIS information to Range Enabler Support (RES) teams to facilitate automated range training requirements identified during Initial Site Surveys (ISS) and Initial Site Planning (ISP) phases of INDOPACOM range training conferences. Develop, manage and maintain SRP data layers and limited non-SRP data essential for training, downrange planning, and range development. Ensure compliance with SRP Geospatial Data Strategy Memorandum, relevant Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), and SDSFIE Army Adaptation. Work with source entities and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to update and validate SRP data layers, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Quarterly reviews with the Range Officer to guarantee alignment with operational objectives. Develop new data and layers. Coordinate with local National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency representatives for periodic satellite imagery updates and respond to government requests. Effectively manage version edits of data layers, and post approved changes to enterprise geodatabases. Annually update installation maps, standard maps, and digital copies of standard and semi-standard maps. Prepare maps for large-quantity outsourced reproduction and review semi-standard maps annually, updating them as necessary. Provide a comprehensive and agile GIS solution that meets the geospatial requirements of military operations, supporting training, downrange planning, and range development.
