2nd ShiftGeneral Production / Machine Operation
Wood Staffing is hiring for a growing Niles, MI company who offers a clean and friendly work environment with a competitive benefit package once hired in. We are currently seeking individuals for 2nd ShiftGeneral Production/Machine Operation positions working 2:00pm - 12:00am Monday - Thursday with additional overtime as needed. Temp to hire position starting out at $20.00/hr. ($17.00/hr. + $3.00/hr. shift premium). Job Responsibilities:
- General Production duties involved in manufacturing and assembly processes
- Machine operation for spot welders, robotic weld cells, single stroke stamping presses, drills, grinders, stretch benders, and forklifts
- Parts loading and offloading
- Using small hand-held tools to make minor part adjustments
- Parts assembly per customer specifications
- Performing parts inspection using measuring devices
- Parts packaging per specification
- Completion of production documentation including production and inspection reports
- Making boxes with wooden skids
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to use small hand-held tools including grinders and sanders
- Must be able to handle, lift, push and pull up to 40lbs on a repetitive basis
- Must wear appropriate PPE
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Must have stable work record and reliable transportation
