Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD, active license in the state of Texas, and DEA registration
- 2+ years of experience as a companion animal veterinarian preferred (mentorship is available and new grads are encouraged to apply)
- Should be skilled in preventive care medicine
- Experience in general surgery & general dentistry
- Excited to grow and values training
- Exhibits strong communication skills
- Believes in client education and high-touch client care
- Must be a leader, a critical thinker, a team player, and a confident veterinarian
- Can work quickly on a computer
- Must have a pleasant presence on the phone and excellent phone etiquette
- Is able to stand, walk, sit, and move freely for extended periods of time (90-minute breaks!)
