Job Summary:
This position maintains production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and electrical equipment. Required to work on all assigned tasks and will work under the supervision of the maintenance manager. Demonstrate the ability to inspect, repair, and troubleshoot industrial machines and equipment. Conduct inspections and maintain the building and plant facilities. Conduct weekly inspections on chillers, air compressors, and fire sprinkler systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Prepares for weekly preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conduct unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Identified and required spare parts, tools, and materials to keep the facility in optimal condition.
• Assist in the control of maintenance spare parts, tools, and materials.
• Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair, test, and make adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, and defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
Experience:
• At least 2 years of forklift inspection, preferred.
• At least 2 years of air compressor inspection preferred.
• At least 2 years of A/C inspection preferred.
• Chiller Inspection preferred.
Education:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Food manufacturing training is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be able to visually inspect machines.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds.
