General Manager

Purple Sky Winery is located in Pleasant View, UT. Purple Sky Winery is a full-scale Winery and upscale full-service restaurant.

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our team with enthusiasm, experience and industry knowledge. We offer a strong financial incentive program.

Job Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for managing the daily front and back of the house operations of the restaurant.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

- Ensure the ongoing completion of all job specifications.

- Oversee ongoing recruiting, hiring and training of restaurant staff.

- Oversee meal and drink quality.

- Oversee marketing strategies.

- Management of the Employee Incentive Program.

- Monitoring restaurant finances, including sales and expenses.

- Completing all operational and administrative requirements as required in the General Manager job specification.

- Successfully accommodate the Owner’s objectives and direction.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Strong knowledge of front and back of house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety.

- Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.

- Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.

- Ability to lead large groups of people.

- 2+ years of experience in a restaurant general management role.
