Sightline Hospitality is seeking a General Manager for the Radio Hotel in New York City.
About the Hotel
The Radio Tower & Hotel is a 221room hotel, mixed-use high rise, located at 2420 Amsterdam Avenue in the Washington Heights area in Northern Manhattan. The property features flexible meeting space, and a restaurant. The Hotel incorporates the unique look and feel of the Washington
Heights neighborhood, catering to both the local Latin community and international travelers looking for affordable yet stylish rooms below the steep asking prices of downtown Manhattan hotels. This 22-story building combines hotel, retail, and office functions in vibrantly stacked blocks, reflecting the vivacious character of the neighborhood. Washington Heights is the 5th largest neighborhood in New York with a population of over
150,000 people, but it is currently served by just two hotels.

Your Responsibilities
From day one, you’ll be thrust into the action. In this role, you’ll own the exciting tasks of creating financial stability at these established and iconic hotels, while continuing to operate with a high degree of service and culture.
The ideal candidate will have a creative mind and will be able to set the property apart from the local landscape by inspiring exceptional service and creating unique hotel guest experiences.
You will manage the guest experience to heightened cleaning and safety protocols. You will poise each location to become among the best in class, celebrated amongst locals and visitors.
Delivering guest experiences that go above and beyond, creating raving reviews, and attracting media attention, through seasonal programming and community partnerships, all within the parameters of budget and expenses.
Managing the property for financial performance, working with the on-site and corporate teams to prepare materials and communicate results with hotel stakeholders.
Required- owner operator mentality. Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reporting. In addition, the General Manager must have strong knowledge in Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing. This leadership position actively participates in community/industry organizations.

Essential Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hotel management, or equivalent experience required.
  • Must have minimum 10-years varied management experience in the hospitality industry including General Manager.
  • Additional experience that comes to mind: independent hotels, F&B operations & Experience Programming.
  • Must be able to analyze a profit and loss statement and extrapolate information from it and related reports.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have working knowledge of accounting systems, property management systems and housekeeping products and procedures.
  • Must be familiar with OSHA, SB198, local Department of Health regulations, and relevant current laws governing handling of hazardous substances.
  • Fluent in English and ability to speak other languages is a plus
