Site Manager- Sales and Operations
Position Summary
This critical Sr. Site Manager is overseeing Operations and helping to also manage our customers and sales for our Manufacturing facility and responsible for achieving the short term and long-term revenue goals. This person will ensure best practices are deployed throughout the site. This role oversees daily operations of the plant operations and keeps production at a maximum capacity while working with financial controls such as labor, waste, safety, EHS and overall compliance.
The Sr Site Manager also ensures all required quality and regulatory standards are met. Develops processes for maximizing productivity, and stewardship. Provides oversight to several plant level functions such as accounting, maintenance, warehouse/distribution, scheduling, and administration. This role partners with the VP’s (Production/Sales) to create functional strategies/objectives for the sub-function and partners in developing budget/policies/ procedures to support the functional infrastructure. This role involves a combination of customer relationship management, customer satisfaction and success by collaboration with the cross-functional teams to achieve revenue goals.
This role is also responsible for building strong relationships, understanding customer’s needs, and proactively addressing challenges to drive customer retention and growth. This role requires a deep knowledge of the managed sub functions and solid knowledge of the overall department functions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Sr. Site Manager is the Senor Leadership role at the site.
1. Ensures that Safety is the number one priority in the site.
2. Responsible for P&L, finances, Costs, and all OPEX
3. Responsible for the Plant Manager. (Efficiencies, Waste, Productivity, Quality, EHS and overall compliance).
4. Provides support to Customer Service. Pricing, Order Entry, Billing, and Customer relationship in partnership with the Sales leader.
5. Works with Plant Manager to ensure proper inventory, WIP, and finished good levels while maintaining favorable/budgeted productivity efficiencies.
6. Responsible for maintaining acceptable/targeted inventory levels. Work with distribution to determine warehousing requirements and establish/maintain best practices.
7. Partners with the Sales leader to support growth strategy. Liaison between the Production and Sales functions and provide onsite support as needed. Will coordinate with Sales regarding plant capabilities and capacity.
8. Responsible, in union with Plant Manager (Production Manager) to develop goal setting for production leadership with direction from VP of Production, to include but not limited to people, machines and plant performance, KPI’s and overall process improvement of the Site.
o Drive manufacturing best practices across Site.
o Achieve cost reductions through manufacturing efficiencies, process flow, labor and waste.
9. Operates as the production liaison between product development and sales
10. In partnership with the sales leader, identifies opportunities for corrugated sales excellence and prioritizes these opportunities for consideration and implementation.
11. Drives a cross functional, uniting, conducive culture of teamwork at the site.
12. Performs other duties and/ or responsibilities as assigned.
13. Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
14. Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
15. Understand customers' business goals and work collaboratively with the customer and all operational functions to align our solutions with their objectives.
16. Prepare and present regular reports to internal stakeholders on overall business unit health.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
o A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, business administration, management, sales, finance, or equivalent experience
o High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or ten (10) to fifteen (15) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Manufacturing AND Packaging industry experience, a MUST have!
