Summary/Objective
General Manager is responsible for all airport services provided and the personnel under his supervision to ensure that the Company is providing professional and excellent service. General Manager will ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and compliance standards established by the Company, by our Clients, and by regulatory authorities. Will seek new business opportunities.
Essential Functions

- Manages the daily operation at the airport and the supervisor’s team. Ensures that service expectations are being met through inspecting gates, positions and areas where the wheelchairs and agents are working.
- Responsible for administering and/or implementing policies, systems, programs, processes, procedures and/or plans within the station.
- Monitor and maintain staffing levels with the assistance of the Human Resources Department.
- Seek new business opportunities and promotes company services.
- Develop and approves schedules and any changes.
- Participates in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning processes as appropriate.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all clients. Conducting daily or weekly visits to address any issues and/or seeking improvements in service.
- Participates in any airport meetings where the company representation is needed, CBP, or any other department.
- Make sure all equipment is accounted for and in good condition. Ensure a daily or weekly inventory.
- Ensure we meet financial targets through effective scheduling and time management.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with employees and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
- Effectively coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
- Work with Safety Quality Manager and trainer, to ensure the safety and security of the operation
- Projects a favorable image of the company to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all of its areas of endeavor.
- Keeps the CEO level fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.

Supervisory Responsibility - This position supervises all operational staff at the airport, including supervisors.
Work Environment -This job operates in a professional airport and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands -This position is very active and requires standing, walking, and seating.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work -This is a full-time position. Hours vary.
Travel - Some travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 5 years experience in Aviation Management
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Pass a background check
- Computer literacy in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English. Bi-Lingual is a plus.
- Maintain a relationship with both employees and clients
- Must have a good working knowledge of management practices and principles so they can efficiently perform his job.
- The job requires someone with critical thinking skills who can quickly observe a situation and make the appropriate response
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
