8 hours per day, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
12-month position, Monday thru Friday
Pay: $15.45 per hour

POSITION: General Maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Good judgment and decision-making ability. Knowledge and application of good safety practices. Knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record as defined by the district’s insurance carrier.
REPORTS TO: Director of Property Services
JOB GOAL: Perform General Maintenance repairs for all sites within the District.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist Director of Maintenance, or designee, in the maintenance of District owned and leased facilities
- Maintain building code compliance
- Provide preventative maintenance at site buildings
- Provide progress and completion updates on projects
- Inspection of site roofs
- Provide minor roof repairs
- Reporting of major roof repairs
- Clean downspouts on monthly basis
- Replacing of HVAC filters
- Work cooperatively with other departmental personnel and other site personnel.
- Other duties as assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Twelve-month (240) basis. Salary and work calendar to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position is both indoor and outdoor, within the school building and its outer area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires, standing, walking, lifting, bending, crouching, lifting items.
