Polymer General Laborer
Job Description Summary
Perform a wide range of duties safely and efficiently produce thermoset plastic products of the highest quality standards.
Job Duties
· Reports to Production Supervisor for daily assignments. · Precision work to include the use of digital scaling of chemicals and materials.· Attend daily and weekly meetings to ensure good team communication.
· Participation in safety and safety activities required.
· Must comply with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) at all times.
· Demold, clean, and preparation of polymer molds.
· Handling of hardware, fiberglass and materials used in polymer manufacturing.
· Handling aluminum, fiberglass, silicone, and steel molds.
· Visual inspection of completed product, accompanied with the use of a sanding stone to eliminate sharp edges.
· Maintains good housekeeping and safety regulations in an indoor and outdoor manufacturing plant setting.
· Regular work attendance.
· Carry out other duties assigned by management as needed.

Education / Experience
· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
· No prior experience required; all onsite training provided due to the specifics of the process.
Knowledge / Skills / Ability
· Able to speak and comprehend English.
· Knowledge of basic tools such as impact wrench, standard wrenches, ratchets, and screwdrivers.
· Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication).
· Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure.
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
· Ability to write simple correspondence.
· Ability to work effectively in a team.
Work Environment
· Standing for long periods of time.
· Thermoset plastics omit low levels of off gassing, some work areas require the use of respirator per OSHA PEL’s and TWA’s for up to 8 hours.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.25 - $24.25 per hour
