General Laborer

Hiring General Labor/Concrete Laborers in the greater STACY area! Starting pay for this position is $24HR (paid weekly) with an opportunity to grow and advance your career within the manufacturing industry.

Job Description:

• Contractors will be assisting in the production of building pre-cast concrete structures for sanitation purposes and storm drains.
• This could be operating various custom machines that fill casts with concrete, spot weld re-bar, and shape their products.
• Contractors may also be smoothing concrete by using hand tools and putting the finishing touches on the product.
• More specifically these three openings are geared towards operating their blending machines.
• This would entail mixing concrete mix with a solution that creates a wet cast to be poured over a casting.

Shifts:

1st shift 6:00am - 4:30pm (5X10's)

1st shift 4:00am - 2:30pm (5X10's) CANDIDATES HAVE THE ABILITY TO WORK EITHER SHIFT TIME.

Work Environment:

• Our client has a massive facility that spans 2 different buildings, as well as a storage yard. Although all of the work is done indoors, it is still a very dirty job. It can be chilly in the winter and warmer in the summer.
• Safety is the #1 priority here- the environment is very safe
• All employees must wear steel-toed boots. Our client will provide all other PPE (florescent vest, safety glasses, hard at, gloves and ear plugs).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical inclination (i.e. work on your own car, can assemble furniture, do their own landscaping, etc).
• Willing to float in other areas, and be open to 10-15 hours of OT
• Candidates must also be willing to work in a dirtier environment.
• Must be able to read a tape measure

PREFERRED

6 months of landscaping experience or manual labor position

PAY: $24hr
