Form of workThis is an entry-level position that supports production by sweeping, cleaning and operating various pieces of equipment.
- Clean-up product around tanks and other equipment.
- Operate forklift to support production on a daily basis.
- Provide back-up support for other roles as necessary.
- Available for overtime work on a scheduled or call-in basis, as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor.
- A high school diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to pay attention to detail among constant distractions.
- Ability to communicate concerns/problems to manager/supervisor on a professional level.
- Continuously lift/move/push/pull objects weighing up to and including 50-pounds; regularly lift/move/push/pull objects weighing up to and including 75-pounds.
- Continuously shovel material.
- Frequently stoop/crouch/bend/climb/push/pull objects to complete the essential functions of this position.
- Vision sufficient to safely perform the essential job tasks.
- Continuously exposed to outdoor/uncontrolled weather conditions.
- Regularly exposed to work near moving parts/equipment.
- Regularly exposed to dust.
- Regularly exposed to moderate to severe noise levels.
- Occasionally exposed to chemicals used in the manufacturing process.
The pay range for this position is $16.50/hr - $19.25/hr. The Company offers paid vacation time, paid sick leave, medical, dental and vision plans as well as a 401(k) with employer match.
