SalaryLocal Asphalt and Concrete Paving company is looking for an energetic, highly self-motivated individual.
Responsibilities may vary from day-to-day and will require physical, hands-on tasks on various construction jobsites as well as in our repair shop.
Basic mechanics (we are looking for someone with basic understanding of auto mechanics not a certified mechanic as this position is a combination field/repair helper position).
This is a physical job and will require a lot of physical activity on jobsites as well as some shop/office work.
Qualifications:
Must be comfortable and willing to work in a repair shop.
Must be comfortable and willing to work with our construction crews when needed.
Must have the ability to follow specific instructions.
Must be comfortable with multiple tasks to complete.
Must be willing to learn new skills and how to operate different tools and equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be very organized and neat.
Must be comfortable working with our repair facility vendors and assigning tasks to them.
Must have reliable transportation and a good driving record.
Must be able to work 40 hours/week - or more.
Must be able to pass a drug test for illegal drugs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
