Brief Role Description:
As Superintendent, ultimately, your job is to guarantee Premium West's commitment to building on trust and completing projects with the most cost-effective means while maintaining or improving the project schedule.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Superintendent capacity in managing multi family and commercial projects. Specific experience and skills requirements of the position are:
Job Description:
- Responsible for the oversight of all construction activities related to the project they are assigned to manage.
- Precise knowledge of project drawings and specifications.
- Development and updating of the overall project construction schedule.
- Monitoring and inspection of subcontractor's work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications and that daily work gets completed according to schedule.
- Coordinate and document 4 week look-ahead schedules.
- Ability to conduct weekly project progress meetings with Subcontractors.
- Conduct weekly site safety meetings with employees and subcontractors.
- Maintain a Daily Report in Procore.
Qualifications:
- Ability to control the outcome of high-end finishes in a detail-oriented manner.
- Capability to present one's self to high-end clientele.
- Strong communication and motivational skills.
- Excellent supervisory and field coordination skills.
- Computer literate. IE. Excel, Word, Outlook, MS operating systems, and PROCORE.
- Clear Oral communication skills, English and Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of Cal OSHA safety requirements and a minimum 10-hour Cal OSHA certificate.
- Capability to run a clean and organized project daily.
