Scope of Responsibilities:
- Set direction for production floor and react to non-standard conditions
- Set daily line time
- Utilize TIP to drive continuous improvement
- Quality coach for First Time Quality, Direct Run Rate, Global Customer Audit
- Coach and Teach GMS at BPD Level 4/5
- Implement Productivity Improvements
- Lead daily production meeting
- Support problem solving and resolution
- End of shift planning and reporting
- Manage hourly manpower needs and movement
- Manage Salary Work Team needs
- Support Shift Leader
- Oversight and enforcement of UAW contractual requirements

Basic Required:
- High level of analytical ability to handle situations where problems are complex
- High level of interpersonal skills to motivate others and lead by example
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job related activities
- Proficient at GMS principals
- Proficient at Workplace Safety System elements
- Experience as a People Leader
- Knowledge of contractual issues and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Kronos
- Ability to rotate shifts
Education and Training:
- Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
