GenAI Engineer (3 months Internship)

Hasura is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer on a contract basis for an exciting three-month position. The selected candidate will collaborate with our product team, focusing on how Hasura can assist in GenAI application development and will work on prototyping and building innovative solutions.

What the role will involve:

• Work closely with the product team to understand the requirements and challenges in GenAI application development.
• Engage in and contribute to discussions in the GenAI community to stay abreast of the latest trends and insights, bring this context to the Hasura product team and assist in forming a strategy on how Hasura can fit into the GenAI application development stack.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team to design, develop, and prototype software solutions in the GenAI domain

Requirements:

• Computer science background
• Experience with LLM development

Nice to have:

• A user-level understanding of (and preferably experience working with) databases (eg: postgres, mongo, mysql etc)
• Familiarity with current GenAI landscape & tools such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), LlamaIndex, Langchain
• Active participation in the Gen AI community
• Experience with Hasura is a strong plus
