Tasks include (but are not limited to) planting, weeding, pruning, deadheading, and light hardscaping. Passion required, experience appreciated but not essential, expertise not required. Happy to train the right person.
Work season runs from late March to late November. Work hours will be 20+/week in spring and early fall and 10-15hrs/week in summer. There is flexibility in how you schedule those hours so long as they're agreed on in advance. This is an ideal arrangement for someone who already has a small landscaping company (or other day job) and is looking to pick up more work. In 2024 this position will be a part-time independent contractor arrangement, but in 2025 it could become a full-time, in-house position if desired.

Duties:
- Digging, planting, weeding, mulching, pruning, deadheading, grading, watering
- Light hardscaping: installing stone borders, pathways, benches, trellises, low retaining walls
Skills:
- Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds, work outdoors in all weather, and generally handle the physically demanding work of the landscaping industry
- Passion for (but not necessarily expertise in) horticulture and gardening
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
