Garden Center Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Garden Associate to join our team. As an outdoor Garden Associate, you will assist customers in finding the perfect plants, flowers, and gardening supplies for their needs. Your expertise in plant care and gardening will be invaluable as you provide guidance and recommendations to customers. Available positions are seasonal with varying timelines based on department, weekends are required. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting plants, flowers, and gardening supplies
- Provide expert advice on plant care and gardening techniques
- Maintain the appearance of the Garden Center by organizing and stocking products
- Ensure the health of all plants through maintenance & watering
- Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of plant care and gardening practices, with the willingness to learn more!
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Organizational skills to maintain inventory and keep the Garden Center tidy
- Previous retail sales experience is an asset
