Scientific Games is looking for a eInstants Game Designer to support the development of eInstant iLottery games both in the United States and internationally. The Game Designer is responsible for the operation and verification of all mathematical equations and production output for said games. The role is responsible for providing Systems Site teams with verified and final versions of new game models and customized versions of existing game models for customer presentation and review. The ideal candidate will: have a proven track record in online game designs, be able to quantify game play characteristics by analyzing game play frequency, volatility and other related parameters and provide recommendations for game design decisions moving forward. This person will work collaboratively with teams across the organization.
In working with Scientific Games’ eInstant game studio and a rapidly growing digital team, you will be on the ground floor of growing a new brand of products. It’s the start of something big with one of the largest lottery suppliers in the world.
Responsibilities:
1. Performs mathematical and statistical analyses of game models and adjusts game designs based on account team and customer feedback.
2. Participates in the creation and review of original mathematical models and new game themes and concepts for online einstant Lottery games that meets all jurisdictional regulations and market requirements.
3. Develop high accuracy and computational efficient program for simulations and perform theoretical proofs whereas applicable.
4. Develop innovative game concepts and translate to mathematical attainable game rules. Creates game design documentation which includes game rules, features, options, play actions, probabilities, and prize structures for formal submission.
5. Generates new market findings through market research, industry knowledge and data analytics aimed at driving new development strategies or new game design features and products.
6. Analyze sales and playership results of the games to define game performance, including identifying how various segments of players are responding to games and suggest improvements to the math models to maximize player satisfaction.
7. Estimating future sales projections for new and existing games.
8. Identifies trends, opportunities, and ongoingly monitors the competitive assess the competitive environment to aide in the development of Scientific Games eInstant iLottery product portfolio and identify key areas of improvement.
9. Generates new market findings through market research, industry knowledge and data analytics aimed at driving new development strategies or new game design features and products.
10. Partner with SG Studio, in collaboration with the Product Team, to create unique gaming concepts, shape other project features and provide constructive feedback to optimize for best game performance. Provide guidance for engineering/art/QA teams on game math related joint efforts.
11. Supporting and collaborating with other team members and departments, including Site Operations, Digital Solutions, Licensing, Legal and Software Development, for the development of new iLottery games and enhancing existing games.
