Furniture Delivery Driver Full Time

This person is responsible for executing a satisfying delivery experience in our customers’ homes. The Delivery Driver is the last touch point our customers have with our company, which directly impacts our business.

Some of the functions the Delivery Driver will perform:

· Drives furniture truck to customers’ homes in a safe and responsible manner

· Assembles and places furniture in our customers’ homes with the utmost care

· Contacts customers regarding their delivery

· Leads Delivery Helpers in resolving issues with customers in their homes

· Drives customer loyalty, as the last point of contact with our customers

· Acts in a professional and courteous manner at all times, represents the company in a positive light

The ideal candidate will have, among other skills and abilities:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Chauffeurs License

· Ability to follow safety guidelines

· Clean Motor Vehicle Record

· At least 21 years of age

· Willing to work at least 45 hours a week

· Proven record of delivering great customer service

· Can perform continuous lifting and maneuvering of heavy furniture

· Can lead/direct work of delivery helpers to ensure the proper delivery of merchandise

· Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team members

· Track record of serving others and putting team goals first

· Owners mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibility

· Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems

· Adaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environment

· Desire to continuously improve

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
