Furniture Delivery & Assembly

We are a small, local, family-sized business committed to our staff, to our craft vendors and to the community. We are looking for a responsible individual to work in a team to two to load, transport and deliver furniture and home accessories promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to maintain customer satisfaction. As a team member you will work in a unique, dynamic environment with room to grow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture and home accessories to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare and inspect items
• Collect payments
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Inspect and assemble furniture
• Maintain warehouse space
• Contribute to a positive working environment

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Furniture Delivery person a plus
• Physically able to lift and safely transport heavy goods
• Valid professional driver’s license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
