Our 4th generation, family owned, funeral home has been serving the community since 1913. With our new facility built in 2022 we can provide all funeral related services on site.
Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Oconomowoc, WI for a Funeral Director and/or Funeral Apprentice. The Funeral Director will be responsible for arranging, coordinating, and directing funeral services and helping families plan funeral arrangements. They will also need to be on call and work with staff and suppliers, ensuring that families receive the necessary products and services.
- Funeral Apprentice License or enrolled or graduated from a Mortuary Science Program.
-Experience in funeral industry is preferred, but willing to train.
-Knowledge of regulation and laws impacting funeral service.
-Excellent organization and planning skills.
-Mature and professional appearance.
Compassionate and empathic towards grieving families.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Valid state Funeral Director's license or willingness to obtain one.
-Valid driving license with a clear driving record.
