Position Summary
The Region Specialist’s primary role is to manage all aspects of the Latin America Region consumable and capital business, including issues resolution for Dealers. Responsibilities include working in partnership with Dealers, Sales and Operations Leadership to ensure timely and efficient execution of assigned tasks. Ensures Region projects are completed in adherence to Terms and Conditions of contract as well as within Regulatory constraints. The Region Specialist is responsible for Region support decisions in the absence of the Region Lead and/or Manager.
Duties
- STERIS liaison for Region business requiring a high level of attention, initiative and follow up
- Responsible for identifying and resolving Region issues by working closely with Dealers and internal departments to resolve complex issues relating to regulatory adherence, foreign government requirements, product quality, product specifications
- Accountable for successful execution of order management through review and approval of order terms, conditions, pricing and exceptions
- Ensures orders are consistent with STERIS Terms and Conditions and work with Dealers to resolve exceptions
- Professionally responds to price quotes, product questions and issues, and all other Region inquiries
- Responsible for financial decisions with authority for expedite and consolidation costs in line with Country Manager authority
- Works with Regulatory, Dealers and Sales to facilitate registration of STERIS products in Region
- Collaborates with Dealers, Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, Traffic, Credit and Regulatory to ensure deadlines are met
- Assigns business tasks to responsible supporting functions
- Manages consumable and capital order backlog of business
- Coordinates product shipment from various plant and vendor locations to designated delivery point
- Develops and maintains business relationship with Customers and Dealers while providing excellent Customer Service
- Facilitates Dealer commission through collaboration with Finance and Sales to guarantee Dealer commissions are accrued accurately and with Credit and Accounts Payable to ensure proper payment of commissions
- Provides feedback and project updates to Manager and Operations Team on a regular basis
- Investigate product complaints and work with Regulatory to ensure timely action and resolution
- 10% travel expected to develop Dealer relationships
Required Experience
- Bachelor degree in International Business or Business discipline required
- Bilingual English-Spanish
- 2 to 4 years business experience with direct contact with Customers, Vendors and Sales
- 2 years international business experience preferred
- 1 to 2 years project management experience

Pay range for this opportunity is $51,120.00 - $67,095.00. This position is eligible for [BONUS PARTICIPATION] OR a [INSERT COMMISSION RATE RANGE, IF APPLICABLE] commission.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
