Full-Time Universal Banker

Upper Peninsula State Bank, with offices in Escanaba, Gladstone, Iron Mountain, Marquette, and Houghton, Michigan is seeking a full-time Universal Banker for our Marquette office.

The role includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

• Meet with new and potential customers to discuss Bank products and services including deposit accounts, CDs, and e-channel delivery options
• Opening accounts and building customer relationships
• Responding to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and through e-mail
• Cash handling and performing teller transactions
• Recordkeeping and various reporting duties
• Cross-training to assist in other areas as needed

Skills required for this position include:

• Outstanding customer service skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to develop a great rapport with customers as well as internal and external referral sources.
• A strong sales aptitude and aspirations to cross-sell bank products and services
• Familiarity with Microsoft products, especially Word and Excel
• An upbeat, positive, and optimistic attitude

This job does require occasional Saturdays.
