Full-Time Third Shift Facility Specialist

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Facility Specialist. This position is 3rd shift, 10pm-6:30am Monday-Friday. Pay will be $18.00/hour.

The job duties consist of:

• Follow the nightly security checklist.
• Understand and follow all Fire Safety and Disaster procedures as explained in the security manual and understand the operation of the fire panels.
• Manage the entry and exiting of residents and visitors.
• Operate switchboard when necessary.
• Complete light maintenance work as assigned.
• Assist the nursing staff in an emergency.
• Follow all safety procedures/precautions and be knowledgeable of all Material Safety Data sheets in relation to assigned duties.
• Drive the company vehicle to complete tasks as needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and janitorial equipment.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, staff and the general public.
• Must be able to handle information with sensitivity and confidentiality.
• Must have a valid and current Driver's license

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience

• Preferably 2 - 4 years security experience in a long-term care facility

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
• May be required to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc., weighing fifty (50) pounds on occasion throughout the work day.
