Full Time Server

SUMMARY
The Stockpot is a busy healthy comfort food restaurant in Selden Market in Downtown Norfolk. We specialize in bone broths, soups, salads, and toasts that strive to showcase seasonal and local ingredients. We are looking for experienced Servers/Bartenders to join our small, but fast-paced restaurant! We are seeking individuals who have experience in the food service industry and who are committed to quality food presentation and service. We are looking for a Full Time employee to round out our team and really get to know our regulars.

Full Time employees must be available weekends (both Saturday & Sunday), as well as PM availability some Mondays & Wednesdays for our event nights. We are occasionally open evenings for special and private events.

This is NOT A SEASONAL position! We are open and busy all year round!
*Hiring Full Time hours. All employees are at a higher hourly rate, plus tip share, which equates to a range of $22-30 an hour.

*Growth Potential - the right candidate could potentially move into a FOH Manager role.

SERVER/BARTENDER RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

- must have strong work ethic. Please do not apply if you are not serious about working.

- be on time and dressed in uniform

- complete daily opening/closing duties and side work.

- be able to work in a close environment with other team members

- communication skills and able to multi-task for long periods at a time

- great interactions with guests

- POS experience required

- at least 2+ year restaurant experience

- excellent time management skills. must be quick moving to keep up with our fast-paced kitchen.

- ability to lift at least 40 lbs on a regular basis

- must have AM availability and weekends***
