An established and growing Beaverton-based Team Sports Distributor has an immediate opening for a talented, experienced, and dependable Full-Time Seasonal Graphic Artist to assist our Customer Service and Information Technology Teams in launching and supporting a New Website Design Tool during our heavy Spring ordering season. Depending on skill set, experience, performance, and order volume, this position could develop into a Full-Time Position.
Job Duties Include:
- Assist customers with placing phone orders and web orders in our order management system during our Spring Busy Season
- Be a resource to customers who have questions on how to effectively use our New Website Design Tool
- Work with management and our Information Technology team to design and deploy templates for various embroidery and print applications.
Requirements:
- 1 year Call Center Experience
- 2 years of Production Art experience preferably in industries that utilize topography and custom logos
- Fluency in Adobe Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC in the non-Apple Macintosh Environment
- Organized and detail oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Capable of multi-tasking and flexible to assist other departments as needed
- Must have reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Expert level experience in Adobe Cloud applications, with emphasis in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Deep interest and knowledge of topography
- A demonstratable awareness and knowledge base of urrent high demand embroidery fonts and print designs used for apparel and headwear in the team sports market
- The ability and interest to apply current fonts and design elements trending in athletic apparel and headwear into our company’s portfolio of products and production processes.
- A forward thinker – someone aware of current and emerging design trends.
- Production experience in apparel embellishment applications including but not limited in one of the following: embroidery, screen printing, heat transfer, DTG printing, sublimation, and woven labels not required but considered a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Graphic Arts considered a plus
- An excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to obtain practical work experience in an E-Commerce environment.
