Job Description
Soliant is working with a client in Kansas that is looking for dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on as a Full Time Staff member . As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the treatment of cancer patients, using radiation therapy to target and eradicate cancer cells while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
- Accurately position patients and ensure their fort during treatments.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
- Monitor patient reactions and provide appropriate support and care during treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- KS State licensure as a Radiation Therapist.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a healthcare team.
- Knowledge of radiation therapy treatment planning software is a plus.
