Responsible for multiple tasks encompassing all aspects of concert promotion for the ACL Live and 3TEN venues. Coordinate, launch, and market 3TEN shows and support the execution of approved marketing campaigns for ACL Live shows developed by marketing leadership. Share information across teams, organize campaigns, facilitate tracking, and support outside promoters and events in executing each campaign. Serve as point of contact for rental and hybrid private event show marketing when needed. Reports to Marketing Manager.
- Initiate and coordinate marketing efforts for 3TEN shows by setting announce/on-sale dates, obtaining artwork for localization and approval, building FBOE (Facebook Official Events), and communicating effectively with tour and show contacts.
- Develop and execute marketing plans for 3TEN shows based on tour requests and guidelines, conduct radio outreach for promotional proposals, implement grassroots marketing efforts, and coordinate promotional ticket giveaways with local venue partners.
- Communicate close-out marketing plans and implement paid efforts for shows within three weeks from 3TEN show dates.
- Assess ongoing marketing efforts for 3TEN and adapt strategies to achieve targeted sales goals.
Support ACL Live shows - - assist in executing approved marketing campaigns, place radio buys and manage promotional proposal approval status, traffic digital assets for placements, update relevant trackers for digital campaigns and journeys, and order tour assets from production websites per tour marketing letters.
- Work closely with a graphic designer to input artwork for localization, obtain final approval from the tour for both 3TEN and ACL Live shows, and update localized assets when needed.
- Communicate with tour managers and publicists for press requests. Localize press releases for concert announcements provided by the artist teams and share with public relations for distribution.
- Coordinate grassroots-level marketing campaigns using retail, street teams, and local media partnerships.
- Coordinate the delivery of promotional tickets with marketing partners.
- Assemble advertising reconciliations for show settlements for both ACL Live and 3TEN shows. Code and process incoming advertising invoices for show-related expenses.
- Act as marketing representative on show nights to escort press/photographers, post live on social platforms, etc. on nights assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Experience
- 2+ years prior experience in event/concert marketing or related experience required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in interpersonal, written, verbal, and visual communications
- Experience in marketing and new media (familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok required)
- Efficient in Microsoft Office suite, some Photoshop experience preferred
- Ability to create and execute a minimum of 6-10 promotional campaigns per week
- Extensive knowledge in event planning, concert or sports marketing
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while juggling multiple tasks
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
