A bit about us:
We are a new family of 4 with infant twins, a mini Goldedoodle named Maddy, and a Calico cat named Caroline. I’m kind of a quiet, homebody by nature, but I am kind and appreciative. My partner is in the middle of training for the police academy, and I do marketing for a law firm. We enjoy traveling and we took the babies to Joshua Tree recently. I am so in love with our baby boys and am looking to establish trust with a nanny who will support our family in a genuinely caring way. I’m going back to work in April so it would be reassuring to get to know our nanny in March (or earlier) to establish the routine. I will be working from home but will want our nanny to take the reigns when I am working.
Our 5-month-old twin boys are both super sweet! One is very mellow and the other is a little more challenging. They do both have acid reflux so laundry is constant over here. Help!
A bit about you:
You are patient, punctual, and can keep your cool when two babies are screaming. You’re not overly chatty, but you are pleasant and friendly. You enjoy caring for babies and you are a hands-on, interactive nanny. You have been an Infant Nanny recently and you have cared for either infant twins or toddler twins. You have good communication, feel comfortable in a home environment where a parent works from home, and are willing to meet each baby where they are at. You are comfortable with friendly pets and you live in the Valley.
Job Duties:
Bottle feeding, diaper changing, keeping track of bottle feedings/meals for each infant and their wake windows in a shared document with the parents, engaging babies in age-appropriate play, driving twins to activities in the future, transitioning to solids in the future, supervising safe play, communicating any concerns, reading/talking to them, being a positive role model in their lives, helping with sleep training, and child-related cleaning. The cleaning tasks include washing baby laundry, folding the family’s laundry, washing dishes, loading/unloading the dishwasher, cleaning bottles and pacifiers, maintaining a tidy nursery, organizing baby clothes as twins grow and need different sizes accessible, and eventually going for walks and possibly helping with grocery shopping.
