We will be Hosting OPEN INTERVIEWS on 01/31/2024 & 02/01/2024 from 9am till 3pm!

Interviews will be held at 4032 Kollman Rd Indianapolis IN. Applicants will be required to have two forms of valid ID with them to start the application process.

We are looking for a responsible custodian to maintain and protect our facilities. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises, as well as preventing vandalism. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. They will have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in custodial maintenance jobs.

Position: Custodian

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46241

Shifts: (Days Vary)

First Shift - 6:00AM - 2:30PM

Second Shift - 1:30PM - 10:00PM

Rate of Pay: $15.00/hour

Position Description:

Under limited supervision, Custodians are responsible for cleaning and maintaining public and private facility areas, premises of office buildings, restrooms, hallways, and all assigned areas.

Examples of Work:

• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces(dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
• Washes windows and mirrors.
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
• Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.
• Follows health/safety rules and precautions.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and practices; safety precautions related to cleaning equipment
• Ability to perform above duties which may involve standing, bending, and kneeling for periods of time, climbing stairs.
• Ability to follow instructions; operate commercial cleaning equipment (not required but is preferred)

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Those who apply are subject to a Federal Background Check and Drug Screen.
• Must be at least 18 years old .
• Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have two forms of ID (must be legible/name matching) State ID, Driver License along with a long version birth certificate or social security card.
• Must have lived in the United States the past consecutive 5 years.
