At Pleasant View Gardens, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of floriculture advancements. Collaborating closely with Proven Winners® and top plant breeders, our R&D department is dedicated to selecting and trialing the highest quality annual, perennial, and edible plants for our market.
As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in executing day-to-day plant production tasks and maintaining meticulous records within our R&D department. From plant identification to shipping, you'll be involved in every step of the process. But that's not all – during the summer months, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work outdoors in our trial fields and display gardens, helping to bring our innovative products to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various plant production tasks, including labeling, potting, and maintenance
- Assist with field and display garden tasks such as planting, weeding, and irrigation
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members
- Ensure greenhouse sanitation and cleanliness for a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience or knowledge in horticulture/agriculture preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt, with a keen eye for detail
