The Transitional Living Center provides a 24/7 supervised living environment for adults with severe and persistent mental illness who need stabilization and assistance with adult daily living skills to successfully transition back into a community setting. In addition, staff members answer, address, and refer calls for the Geauga County Crisis Hotline, Copeline.
This is a great position for those who like a fast-paced environment, as well as those who want to gain valuable experience in the Behavioral Health field.
Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist Job Duties:
- Monitoring clients with mental illness
- Assistance with independent living skills
- Medication monitoring
- Manage and respond to crisis line calls routing the calls to the appropriate referral
- Cleaning and tidying of the facility
- Completing daily logs, summaries, and state required paperwork
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Medical, Vision and Dental
