SalaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Health Medical Biller to join our team. As a Behavioral HealthBilling Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization by accurately and efficiently processing medical billing and claims related to Behavioral Health services. Your attention to detail, knowledge of insurance policies, and commitment to compliance will be instrumental in our continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and submit claims for Behavioral Health services to insurance companies and government payers.
- Review and reconcile patient accounts, identifying and resolving billing and coding errors.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations, billing codes, and industry changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including clinicians and administrative staff, to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Address and resolve insurance-related inquiries and disputes.
- Keep detailed records of billing and payment activities.
- Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA and other privacy laws.
- Provide reports and updates on billing performance to management.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
