JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will be responsible for design, develop, test, and deployment of products that scale to meet the demand and create/ maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions in the AWS cloud. In this role you will be building new features/services using server less technology, microservices, modern UI frameworks, and DevOps best practices (Test drive development, CI/CD) in a green field, using AWS Cloud Native technologies. The candidate will work with architects, other engineers, and product and program managers in an Agile/SCRUM environment to deliver the requested features and improvements to the software, to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture/ design/ software solutions by working with Product, UX designers and other engineers in the team. You will constantly strive to raise the bar on engineering excellence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of front-end and web software development.
• 5+ years hands on AWS Cloud native development experience
• 3+ years hands on experience managing infrastructure as service in AWS and writing CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in front-end web development. Modern React experience with hooks, functional components, and TypeScript.
• Experience leading design or architecture (design, patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience working with API frameworks and building solutions with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Distributed Software, Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices and NoSQL database concepts.
• Experience with React JS with a deep understanding of React JS internals and building reusable libraries.
• Experience with Single Page Applications (SPA) with state complexity, modern front-end design patterns, understanding the common UX patterns and accessibility for single page applications.
• Experience with TypeScript, React JS, Node JS, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
• Expertise with web application routing strategies.
• Proven commitment to current best practices, continuous deployment, 100% fault tolerance, high performance, infrastructure as code, and working in a Test Driven and DevOps organization.
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to breakdown requirements into stories and provide estimates, perform code reviews, raise technical bar, identify risks, and create documentation.
• Solid track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects.
• Considerable experience with database development.
• Experience with best practices around web application security.
• Experience using distributed version control.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• You must be highly motivated, accountable, and reliable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with .Net technology stack
• Experience working on large monolith applications.
• Experience working on healthcare applications, X12 healthcare transactions such as

Eligibility and Claims.

• Experience with offshore/nearshore/onshore model
• Experience with Agile methodology

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage in architecting, building new features and services for the Digital Biller Platform leveraging an evolving set of languages and technologies including C#, Dot Net, TypeScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Terraform and AWS services such as Step Functions, ECS, Lambda, Fargate, S3, Kinesis, Event Bridge, SQS, CloudWatch and DynamoDB.
• Demonstrate solid drive to learn and advocate for development best practices (TDD, code reviews, continuous integration, work in small batches, etc.)
• Communicates proactively and effectively with team members and other stakeholders in a highly Agile environment.
• Self-starter that will take tasks and accomplish them with little oversight.
• Experience with GIT, GitHub/Lab, Jenkins, Jira, Rally
• Demonstrate technical experience as a senior engineer, cloud-based experience.
• Demonstrate initiative with learning new technologies.
• Communicates well with the ability to target the message to the audience.
