Location: Seattle, WA 98101 (Hybrid: 3 days in the office)

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement RESTful backend APIs using PHP, enhancing our service offerings.
• Develop and manage the Airflow Workflow System utilizing Python and PostgreSQL, optimizing operational efficiency.
• Create cutting-edge solutions with headless technologies such as Vercel, Next.js, React, and Contentful.
• Foster collaborative partnerships between internal business stakeholders, and possible outsourced teams, ensuring alignment and driving forward key initiatives.
• Champion our technology stack, leveraging CI/CD and DevOps methodologies to maintain and advance our infrastructure.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on a wide range of technologies, including but not limited to web analytics, SEO, ERP, CRM, data, sku management, and corporate IT
• Drive the technology infrastructure and strategic vision of a growing e-commerce company

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in software development, with a solid foundation in web development frameworks (e.g. React, Vue.js and/or Angular).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following programming languages: PHP, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Have an entrepreneurial mindset to take ownership of business development as it relates to technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven project management prowess, with experience in roles such as Program Manager or Product Owner.
• Demonstrated leadership in technology within the e-commerce sector.
• Proven track record in team management, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive DevOps experience with a portfolio of managed websites and backends.
