Hertz is currently looking for an experienced Full Stack Developerin its Software Engineering team. This team develops software applications and solutions which are central to Hertz business. We provide flexible work environment focused on delivering distributed computing at a rapidly increased pace. What You'll Do

• Develop documents and maintains interfaces and designs.
• Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
• Develop, select, tailor and deploy software, processes, tools and metrics.
• Executes and documents proof of concept projects.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and flows.
• Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards.
• Work under some direction from technical leaders and architects.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Object Oriented Design / Object Oriented Programming in a high-level language like C# or Java
• Experience working in an Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Aurora, PostgreSQL
• Experience with technologies like J2EE, REST, microservices, Application Servers, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Experience in client-side technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, HTML5, CSS, and different UI frameworks and designs
• A Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited institution. Advanced degree (e.g. Master's, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cloud technologies and/or Cloud-native app development and microservices
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, methodologies and tooling
• Exposure to development on both Windows & Linux/Unix platforms
• Experience with AWS Cloud, GitLab, GIT
• Experience working with containerization, Docker and Kubernetes
