Job description

We are looking for an outstanding Full Stack C#.NET Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our websites. The Web Developer will help build and support our websites from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

The Full Stack C#.NET Developer should be well versed in responsive design, able to write clean code, and ensure your programs run properly. This individual should be passionate about building software and perform well working in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build, test, monitor, and implement web-based tools and applications that promote the Association’s business strategies and initiatives.   
  • Support and maintain existing enterprise level CMS applications, such as Kentico, SharePoint, and Ektron CMS. 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

4+ Years Working knowledge of:

  • C# or VB ASP.NET using MVC design models
  • SQL Server 2019 and other database tools
  • Microsoft web server management in IIS
  • CMS and other web-based systems (Kentico, SharePoint, etc.)

Minimum requirements:

  • 3+ Years’ experience with test and enterprise level production environments
  • 3+ Years’ experience with testing and implementation of enterprise level applications
  • 3+ Years’ experience with Application Development Life Cycles
  • Ability to trouble-shoot web server, report, and technical issues
  • Web technology languages such as C# .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, CSS

Experience in mobile web/app development in HTML5 / CSS3 is not a requirement, but preferred.

Follow detailed instructions and complete assignments in a timely manner.

Understanding of web best practices, security standards, responsive design, and modern techniques.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.

Minimum technical requirements:

  • 3+ Years’ experience with test and enterprise level production environments
  • 3+ Years’ experience with testing and implementation of enterprise level applications
  • 3+ Years’ experience with Application Development Life Cycles
  • 3+ Years’ experience with Web services and API calls
  • Ability to trouble-shoot web server, report, and technical issues
  • Working knowledge of server programming languages such as C# or VB .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS and Bootstrap.
  • Working knowledge of database scripting languages and technologies such as SQL, MySQL
  • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems such as Kentico or SharePoint
  • Experience working with GIT version control and the command line is a plus
  • Self-directed learner who picks up new skills quickly
  • Desire to learn proprietary development tools and systems
  • Understanding of web best practices, responsive design, security standards, and modern techniques

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with Chapter and Home office management and staff.
  • Ability to work in cross-department or divisional teams.
  • Ability to provide technical explanations to non-technical users.
  • Ability to architect and develop new programs and systems to respond to emerging business needs.
  • Ability to respond to customer service requests promptly, accurately, and professionally
  • Ability to work and communicate with external consultants.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems when needed.

GRADE: 508, estimated base salary $78K-$90K
