The Full Stack AEM Developer role is tailored for a candidate that is passionate about implementing front and backend user experiences and will help translate designs and marketing goals into high-performing website enhancements. The ideal candidate is a technical individual who embraces opportunities to learn and grow in a face-paced environment. As an AEM Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle including analysis, requirement specification, use case and data modeling, technical design, development, testing, and deployment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, front-end developer, and product manager to create innovative digital solutions that drive engagement and increase customer satisfaction in an agile environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex project issues and devise innovative solutions through collaboration with internal teams to create engaging AEM user experiences
• Scope requirements and code new and modify existing functionality in backed AEM content management system from designs and business requirements
• Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications
• Act as the AEM subject matter expert that will drive best practices and standards for code quality and consistency, code reviews, component reuse, scalability, performance, security, and accessibility.
• Resolve any open issues or questions regarding needed functionality
• Manage environments and deploy code across development, staging, and production instances
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve urgent bugs and errors
• Ability to lead and mentor in-house and external developers
• Continuously refine our processes to deliver value faster and improve the quality and sustainability of our website

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 7 years of proven experience with Java, JEE, XML and JSON
• Good practical experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• 7 years of experience in at least one JavaScript Framework, such as React, Vue.js or AngularJS.
• Experience with highly trafficked and scalable web content management systems.
• Profound experience with REST APIs, Unit Testing, GIT source control, agile methodologies, and software design patterns.
• Knowledge of trends in the area of personalization and data-driven optimization
• AEM Backend Development like Sling Servlets, OSGi Components, and JCR Queries
• Functional knowledge of Adobe Target
• Core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix.
• Touch UI, Sightly (HTL), and Sling Models.
• Experience with Content Delivery Networks.
• Experience with Cloud Computing.
• Adobe Experience Manager developer certification preferred

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $86,000 - $125,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
