The Full Sail Labs Facilitator is a dynamic, fully engaged professional responsible for the development and facilitation of K-12 student learning programs on behalf of Full Sail University within the local community and entertainment media industries. The Full Sail Labs Facilitator will facilitate onsite workshops, summer camps, and professional development, deliver brand-level presentations, and provide support services to the education community at large.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Behave as a Full Sail University ambassador and embrace our unique educational model, while maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, customer service, and compliance.
- Facilitate Full Sail University interactive, structured experiences/workshops on different media arts and technology related topics for students and educators (K-12).
- Engage with students, teachers, parents, and community professionals when they arrive at the facility, utilizing breaks and mealtimes as opportunities for service and individual engagement.
- Aid in on-going program development and stay current with curriculum updates by conducting educational and industry research, testing content and material, participating in peer reviews, and providing feedback during iterative processes.
- Participate in and lead extensive, on-going training in different media arts and technology related topics.
- Create and update required educational documentation in support of learning programs, including but not limited to lesson plans, facilitation guides, and classroom resources.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and extended hours.
Other Responsibilities:
- Remain up to date on relevant info related to Full Sail University, Full Sail Labs, the entertainment media industry, post-secondary education and ACCSC.
- Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all Full Sail University and Full Sail Labs educational offerings.
- Maintain consistent communication with direct supervisor, and partner with other regional staff, campus personnel, and leadership team to plan and execute strategic brand advocacy activities.
- Conduct audits of hardware and software to maintain standards of operation.
- Compile student project files and send accordingly to participants when applicable.
- Provide coverage assistance for various on-campus Outreach events as needed.
- Apply best practices across all initiatives to ensure a consistent brand experience.
- Adhere to Full Sail Labs standards, including attendance and wearing uniform for educational experiences.
- Assist with clerical and business operations on various Full Sail Labs and Outreach initiatives when needed.

Education and/or Experience:
- Associates degree required, preferably in technology, entertainment and media related fields.
- An understanding of college admissions process and educational models for k-12 education (Including STEM, STEAM or CTE).
- Must successfully participate in and complete all continuing education/training requirements.
- Previous experience in educational practices, such as tutoring, mentoring, teacher assistant, facilitator, trainer, etc.
- Background check mandatory.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- CPR and First Aid Certified (provided by the University if not certified upon hire)
Computer/Equipment Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and various web tools.
- Proficient with various Apple and Windows based hardware and software.
- Proficient with various audio/video/gaming equipment.
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
- Stamina to work with K-12 age range part-time, daily
- Comfortable working on your feet for a long time.
- Comfortable sitting on the floor and picking items up from the floor.
- Comfortable hauling equipment between locations (laptops, iPads, cameras, costumes, robots, etc.)
